Weathertite Tone Test Set |
| The
AINES Model 240 Tone Test Set is a water
resistant tone generator equipped with a
weathertite 2 conductor modular cord and
jack. The set can be connected to the Network
Interface Device (NID) with either the two
individual clips or the modular cord. This
allows the CPE circuit to be viewed in both
directions, towards the Central Office and
towards the customer premise. In the event
the CPE does not have a jack, but instead
has a cord, plug the cord into the Model
240s jack and transmit tone! |

Stationman Probe |

| The
probe requires a tone source in the
range of 500 to 1000 hertz, such as
the AINES Model 140A Tone Test Set
or another of the same or better quality. |
| The
AINES Model 150SP STATIONMAN Probe
is designed to be an inexpensive solution
to the location of tone while at the
same time, utilizing your telephone
test set (such as the AINES Telephone
Test Set ) as the audio headset. The
150SP is provided with a cone-shaped
tip and a duckbill tip that is longer
and flatter, permitting insertion
onto larger cables or cables under
tension where slack cannot be obtained.
An optional leather carrying case
is available at low cost. |

Speaker Probe |
 |
| This
probe is designed for those technicians
that want the best tool available. The Model
250SSP is supplied with a cone-shaped tip
and a duckbill tip that is longer and flatter,
permitting insertion into larger cables,
or cables under tension where slack cannot
be obtained. Another feature is the built
in speaker for audio without the need for
a butt set or headset. The speaker is operated
by a slide switch that has a "lock"
position for continuous monitoring. |
